Biography

Dr Kethees Ketheeswaran graduated in medicine in Sri Lanka in 1992. He moved to Australia in 1998 with his family. He initially worked in Alice Spring Hospital and moved to the Gippsland area in 2000. Dr Kethees finished a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology (DRANZCOG) in 2001 at Mercy Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.

He commenced practice at Central Clinic Warragul as a registrar in 2004 and became a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2005. He became a partner of the practice in 2008. Dr Kethees is a member of Visiting Medical Staff at the West Gippsland Hospital, is a supervisor of GP training in Southern GP Training and trains medical students. His specialist interests within medicine are Mental Health, Cardiovascular Conditions, General Medicine, Diabetes, Asthma and Men’s Health. Outside of medicine Dr Kethees enjoys travel, watching cricket and playing tennis.
