• Our friendly skin clinic receptionist will advise you of your expected appointment duration; please allow extra time just in case you have other appointments.
• Do not wear any form of makeup, nail polish, false nails or jewellery.
  Remove any dirt, grease, oil, from your skin.
• Do not have sunburn, spray tan or use tanning creams within 10 days of skin check.
• Please inform your doctor about any skin lesions you are concerned about no matter where they are.

Fotofinder system

Fotofinder is able to take high-resolution images systematically from head to toe at many different angles. Fotofinder compares images and detects microscopic changes at the very earliest stages, minimising the risk of developing into more dangerous skin cancers.

Dermoscopy

A skin screening tool which enables doctors to visualise and evaluate moles and other skin lesions at a microscopic level. Dermoscopy images are able to be stored within Fotofinder for future comparison.

Non Attendance or Cancellation

Missed appointments or those cancelled at less than 24 hours notice will attract a non-rebateable fee of $100.

Rebates

A medicare rebate is available for Mapping, Skin Check & Spot Check appointments if you have a valid Medicare Card. We recommend you register for direct Medicare rebate recovery.

USB Stick

Our practice nurse can compile all your photos onto a USB stick which you can take home with you.

Records Transfer

At the request of another clinic and with your signed authority.
